We just finished tuning an FR-S with an AVO Turbo Kit. The AFR's on the base map were WAY too lean (possibly due to his exhaust mods). They were not even in the same zip code of where they needed to be, but that's fixed now. The ignition timing, cam timing, and injection control have been optimized as well. We've also integrated a boost cut to protect the engine from overboosting.

We'll be tuning an FA20Club Turbo Kit here in the next week or so. We also have Innovate and Vortech customers lined up for tuning as well. Don't settle for e-tunes that require you to switch between multiple fuel and timing maps to close in on a functional tune. Your tuner should be the one figuring all this out on a dyno, not you on the street. Get your car tuned live and on a dyno and you'll only need one tuned map for a given set of mods.

Best Regards,
Toan

My car gets done in a few weeks. Boost controller, injectors and map sensor and letting him do his thing on the dyno. Can't wait. Funny how yours is way lean. Factory wideband can only read down to 12.17:1 and under load in boost I'm pegged at that value. Never goes leaner than that

Don't know what the deal was with running lean, I'm sure we'll hear something from AVO soon. It might be that they've never sold a kit to someone with a muffler delete, I have no idea...

Thought I'd share the graph you guys gave me. If you plan to post a digital copy then I can just pull the link here. The curves are looking a whole heck of a lot smoother and the car feels that way. Torque now peaks where it used to dip a bit. Things are running great.

That's good power at 5 psi, and dyno dynamics usually read a little lower than the common dyno jet

Picked my car up from ptuning this morning. What a difference. Toan did an amazing job. car feels like a bigger engine rather then a boosted 2.0 with the avo kit. Its hard to even tell when boost comes on its so smooth. Part throttle is amazing, zero flat spots or issues. Definitely recommend these guys for dyno tuning.

Avo kit
Tanabe catless front pipe
Perrin resonated cat back
Dw 700 injectors
Omni 3 bar map
Turbosmart manual boost controller

With the 5psi avo actuator boost dropped by about 2psi from 5500 to red line. Will be doing their upgraded actuator next spring. Max boost of 10.5 psi

I can certainly look into it if there are enough interested parties.
