Forum Suggestion: A "Private" racing section

This isn't the only forum I've been a member of that bans street racing videos. To be completely honest I don't think the forum suffers from it at all. Increased traffic might be good, but quality over quantity imo. I'm don't want to lump them all together into one group, but a lot of the street racing crowd are a bunch of d-bags with no consideration for others on the road, and that mentality reflects on the forum when such posts are made.

I have never been part of a forum that even allows street racing topics, let alone vids. Has no place on a forum really.

Yeah, street racing section isn't happening.

Y'all wanna watch some racing videos? Check out the thousands of sick ass track videos from the many, many members (and non-members) in the Tracking section and even in YouTube. They even often have exact details on their setups and opinions on mods and tuning. It's constructive, it's educational, and it might get more people itching to go to the nearest track and actually drive their cars instead of buying a performance car so they can see how high their MPG readout can get. (I do that rather often... lol)

Seeing a video of some dumbass doing donuts in a parking lot and hitting a curb is, albiet entertaining, incredibly idiotic, and all that might do is have some chump thinking, "Well, my high school's parking lot looks bigger than that! I can do donuts too!" And all we end up with is the terrible virus known as "Stupid" being spread even more so than it already is.

This forum's main goal, hell, this CAR'S main goal was not only to get people into an affordable, back-to-basics sports car, but also to promote safe performance driving (i.e. Track/AutoX/etc.), which has honestly been dying in recent years due to a number of factors. The more we focus on these things, the more we can get the community to focus on these things, and perhaps we might get people second-thinking doing highway pulls, and maybe even signing up for HPDEs.
