Let's say there are 1000 units. 2/3rds of them will be limited, and 1/3rd will be premium

333 premium
667 limited

Out of the 333 premium, 1/3rd will be automatic = 111.
Since the premium automatic is discontinued, the model & transmission is a double whammy with only 100-150 units of the car ever made... this turned into a calculation for myself

Have no idea what the sales/production numbers on the GBS BRZ are. I would imagine not from a worldwide perspective since Scion is only in North America, but in the US only I wouldn't know.

Well, that's a little upsetting. I wanted to buy a '14 model as it would likely have fewer early-adopter problems, and I like the Galaxy Blue Silica best of the colors I've seen so far (although I haven't seen all of them in person).

So I can:
Rush and get a '13 GBS: not ideal
Wait and get what's potentially a second-choice color: not ideal
Wait and get an Ultramarine FRS if they still offer that color in '14: not ideal

Bummer.

From what I read on the board, GBS is already mostly gone in the states...so 2013 is probably not a choice...unless you get used.

The frs will have ultramarine for 2014...I haven't heard that it will discontinued,

I test drove a GBS MT Thursday at a dealer five blocks away. It was the only BRZ they had left after the Labor Day crowds.

I just put a deposit down for a GBS MT limited coming in later this month. Last 5 of the VIN are 13xxx. For those of you with a deposit on a GBS BRZ that has yet to come in, what serial number do you have?
