Just throwing this out there... from Ottawa to Perth, North up the 511 to Calabogie, then West on the 508 to the Mountain Chute Dam...cool place for some group photos. Some nice curvy roads too.

I'm IN if it's Oct 19th or later... I doubt you'll leave it till that late though - I bet you'll have nicer weather Oct 5-6 or Oct 12-13 - but remember that is T-Giving long weekend too(Mon Oct 14 off).

yeah, t-giving weekend is clearly out.
before then (5th) or after (19th) would be my best options.

I'm good with any of those 4 dates. Would prefer 5 or 6 as the weather will probably be better.

In for the 5th or sooner. I like the idea of a cruise to Calabogie, the roads there are quite curvy and nice at speed, without blowing through higher speeds risking tickets. I.e. going 90 in an 80 is fun on the curvy bits.
If we go the weekend before, we could stop at Bogie to watch the Chump cars racing.

Btw, there is some great racing happening this weekend at Calabogie.
Lamborghini Trofeo Cup series (racing Gallardos), Porsche GT3 Challenge Cup, Porsche 944 Series and Canadian Touring Car, as well as some open wheelers and Gentleman Cup racing (point-by passing).
Should be great fun to watch. $30/weekend or $20/day
