Which, as we all know, is the very best thing to do when a vendor announces a new product in development, or a potential release date. lol

bleh. so the clutch i was looking at is only good for 280 at the crank, which I plan on making more than. So now I'm looking at one that is 324 lb/ft at the crank, which hopefully I'll be able to use for a while.

I thought it was measured at the wheels? Bc that's how most of us test

What clutch? It's probably better than the OEM clutch.

Hmm not familiar with their clutches. I plan to goto the ACT street clutch and flywheel here in a little bit.
Torque Capacity (ft/lbs.): 270

I plan on making a bit more power, and since my torque is already enough to make the stock clutch slip, I need one that's...um...high level? enough to handle what i plan on doing.

I'm looking more at the torque numbers. I'm already pushign 230lb/ft, and it wouldn't take too much more to push me up to 260lb/ft (which i think the 280 would be good for, since that's at the crank), so I'd rather have some breathing room, than not be able to do anything to her

My follow up.

After this had taken place I woke up to a phone call by Innovate who told me a new blower and belt was being sent to PRE. I called PRE to confirm this and they said I would be up and running by the end of Sat. I had asked if they would put my car on the dyno to make sure everything looked good. They said yes. I went and picked up my car Sat at 2pm (way sooner then I expected) Innovate got me back on the road within a day!

Now the interesting.
PRE never diagnosed my car after I had dropped it off. Never put another belt on the old blower to fire it up. Only told me it was making a noise the other blower wasn't when spinning it by hand. They also never put it on the dyno before my pick up. Told me I would have to come back another day. Sunday (the day after I picked up my car) I started to get a stumbling RPM issues and my car actually died on me in a parking garage. So I called Bobby and he told me to bring my car in. I scheduled with PRE to come in at 11:30 today.

Today - Took my car in for my scheduled time at 11:30am but they were dealing with a SRT-4 that was having issues on the dyno so my car was never put on the dyno. At 1:15ish Bobby got a chance to run out to my car and reflash it (I had to be to work soon). (I also kept getting a P0420 code for my header that he had to disable) He changed my idle fuel trims and now the car seems fine at idle until I turn my wheel while clutched in which causes the car to dip still.

Also still getting belt squeal at hard shift.

Borrowing a buddy's gopro to take video of all my noises and going from there.

INNOVATE has been awesome throughout this whole little hick-up. It turns out for some magical reason after they got the blower it was fine. So it puzzles me to how all this happened. I'm now starting to believe it's possibly a tune issue.

- I was never in possession of the car after this happened. PRE and Innovate worked it out. If it was actually the blower (this needs to be determined) then Innovate would have gotten a 100% for warranty.

So atm I'm puzzled and at work and want to drive my car off a cliff for all it's done to me in the past 12 months of ownership.

But thank you Innovate Motorsports A+ for customer service. I look forwards to our conversations to come.
Bad news. Last weak on Wednesday as I was getting off work to go on my 5 day vacation (got married) I got a lean code..... Car ran like shit. Pulled over and had my car towed to PRE racing. I ACTUALLY HAD TO SIT IN MY CAR FOR 7 FUCKING HOURS BEFORE A FUCKING TOW TRUCK COULD GET TO MY FUCKING CAR. Best part was I was supposed to be to work in 2 hours for training once the car got to PRE and I was supposed to be driving to my wedding venue in 5 hours (at this point I was up for 26 hours) Yea FML right? PRE took my car (was supposed to be in wedding pictures) and said everything seemed fine today. Go figure. I pick my car up today and on my way home I get a multiple misfire code then my car runs like shit again. I just said fuck it and drove it home since it's 2am and I just worked a 14 hour day AND it's my first day in the car and my first day back from vacation. I'm about to drive my car off a cliff. PRE said everything was fine after doing a DIOG on the car. Guess not. Here is a video and it sounded 200% worse when I got home.

I'm now going to bed pissed. Gnite. Maybe it will magically work fine for the 3rd time when I have to drive to work tomorrow. God knows if i'll be on the side of the freeway again for the 4th time in a month because of this charger.

It's also good for way more torque than what you'll likely ever see in this car. Although a different diameter Mustang guys with 450lb-ft run the same clutch.
