I install and wire in a small rocker switch below the stock door switch that when switched on fools the car into thinking the door is shut. I then add a small rubber bumper on the door that shuts the switch off when I close the door to reset it to the off position and restore normal operation next time I open the door. [/IMG]

This pic shows inside or behind the rear quarter panel. The top wire is the stock switch. Below that you can see the hole I cut with a drill & die grinder to clear the terminals of he new switch. I revised the wiring so ignore the routing in the picture. You just need go through the new switch and from there to the stock switch.
Should do a diy in that section. Lots of peoole would appreciate it.

So lets see, didn't someone need a stock muffler?

Exhaust system is done, I removed the 2nd Cat and a Resonator (that weird small one) and had a bolt in replacement made and then the OEM Muffler pulled and my new replacement and tips installed.

Sounds decent, I expected it to be louder though... not that I wanted annoying but My 2000 Impreza RS had that Boxter sound that I loved and well I thought this would be similar. It does sound good just not what I thought.

I also took off the front snorkel after reading what one of the members here posted with dyno graphs.

I am now trying to find the Switchbacks I bought that came in yesterday... but I can't seem to find where I put them.... not surprising.

I also need to find some time to put in the Lowering Springs I have here, but it looks like Friday the majority of my LED Lighting and my new Side Mirror Lenses. Should be a busy weekend.

Did you put a Header on too? you won't get that awesome sound until you replace factory header with a UEL one...

I am going to start looking into that tomorrow, I see there are equal and unequals but I need to find dyno data on both before I pick a set. Unless someone locally is selling a set.

I also need to look into how to handle any Cat O2 Codes.

Major accident on the 60 just west of the 101. Westbound 60 was routed to the South 101. Hope everyone from the drive made it safely home tonight.

Good thing I took the 202 back, I guess.

I did see a nasty one on the surface streets, too. Bad night apparently.

I shoukd have some dyno data on the JDL header soonish.

I really like their design and craftsmanship. Plus they can help you out with the CEL/o2 codes issue. They installed a sensor bung behind the high-flow cat in my front pipe (also made by JDL). Now the secondary o2 sensor is relocated behind the front pipe cat. The header is catless and the ecu is still happy. No CELs at all! Really the car should have this configuration stock.

Everytime I check in on this post, there are a bunch of new names I don't recognize.

Hi new guys/gals~

And when the hell is someone going to do a midnight cookout for those of us who are nocturnal?

Also back on topic, what is the best way to dump the CEL of swapping to a catless header?

Ok so it sounds like they are using the Spark Plug Anti Fouler trick then, I thought it might work but I wasn't sure.

Thanks Ninjin I will look forward to your results
