What's the average/expected wait time for tune? From request and/or submission to customer receiving file?

I can't speak directly to timeframe on initial tune, but all of my interactions with Toni at FA20Club have been EXTREMELY fast. Quickest responses I've ever gotten from a vendor. Many here have stated the same experience, even to the point of receiving a tune update in less than an hour in the middle of the night. If you're looking for a vendor that cares and has topnotch support, this indisputably seems to be the one to go with.

I've only one time heard something bad about @FA20club tuning, and it was from a guy who was bouncing between 3 tuners, and didn't send any data logs back to Toni to fine tune before throwing him under the bus.

But with every e-tune I can't stress enough that no e-tune will be as good as a local dyno tune, working with someone who has a good reputation and can get your car on a dyno in person, or via Skype or team-viewer (team-viewer does not play well with ecu-tek btw) should be your ultimate goal.

Gonna take this time and also suggest @moto-mike for anyone near the east side of PA, he has been nothing but a joy to work with and his numbers are always safe and very high.

No new license, just the tune. I'd recommend contacting him and talking it through. He'll happily answer any of your questions, and I'm sure you guys can work out a solid deal to get you back where you want to be.

Just the tune. I just bought from another vendor after buying from JV in the group buy. I had no problem loading the tune. I did load the stock rom in first. I'm not sure if that was required, but it seemed like a good idea.

Not required, I switched between them without that step.

Well, I still have a copy of every tune he sent me. And I can still get updates as they come out so there's not really any reason to get my money back.

Your playing with fire in that respect. Of course, my predicament is a bit different than yours is.

A few days late but just wanted to give me story. FA20 is amazing for turn around and response. My last update I had a dyno session Friday and wasn't able to get to a computer until Saturday evening. I sent him the logs at 10pm on a Saturday and had a new tweaked tune in my inbox an hour later. I've never seen any company go above and beyond like FA20 and I really don't understand how other companies that take the 'looks good enough' approach continue to get new customers.

Happy to hear the experience was good. I've been amazed at their response times. The man must not sleep.

I think the only reason the "good enough" approach is still netting customers is due to their willingness to aggressively advertise. When I bought in, I really wasn't aware other options existed with a large enough customer base to make me comfortable purchasing. Was my mistake for not researching sufficiently, but I ended up opting for the one with 2349083 thread count. Costly lesson, but at least the word is spreading so new people know who to go with.
