Personally when someone drives slow I don't think twice and go around them.

I'm a good driver, Pay a lot of attention to my blind spots/where other cars are located on the road/keep tabs on em/and understand their speed vs. my speed.
Switching lanes is easy, I don't have time to sit behind a fucking idiot.

Just don't be rude and cut people off, I like to do the ol' switcheroo and simply break than switch lanes...hard to explain but its normally easier than trying to speed up-be rude and cut another person off.

I like to see the highway as one road vs (how normal people see it) one road divided into 3 lanes.
But to be fair, those driving days are over. I'm into saving gas now and kick it grandma style in the far right lane

The way I see it, the only time you should get pissed at someone on the road is if they are drunk or on their phone -swerving all over the goddamn place.

O and tailgating when all other lanes are fucking free. (and no I'm never in the passing lane when this happens)

whats even worst is when douchebags don't let you enter/exit the highway safely on very short onramp/offramp sections.

I'm still waiting for the guy that does camp out in the left lane to get on here and be all... "1. Yes."

We know you're out there, buddy. Don't be shy.

If I decide to go in the left hand lane and hold someone up that's their problem. They can always go into one of the right hand lanes to overtake

You're doing it wrong. Even if you're already doing 50 over the limit, if someone wants to do 51 over, you move your ass out of the left lane and let them get their ticket.

One of my biggest annoyances is when you're on a proper highway with only right-hand exits and light traffic is people who don't pass me. I always keep right except to pass, but I drive fast, so that means a lot of lane changes. If you're up behind me in the left lane, and I've completed a pass, I'm getting over to the right lane. That means that up until the point I reach the next car ahead in the right lane, you have an opportunity to pass me. Please, either pass me, or give me enough room to get back over if you're just going to camp out in the left lane and not pass me. I hate when you kinda keep neck-and-neck with me, maybe go a little bit faster, so that when I reach the next car ahead in the right lane, you're right on my rear quarter, and I need to either cut you off to make my pass, or slow down and wait for you to crawl past so that I can get behind you and make my pass. I'm giving you a nice big window of opportunity if I'm holding you up, but please either pass me, or get behind me, don't drive parallel to me and block the left lane from me.

The BRZ is really a great car for driving properly, because it accelerates hard and is very nimble. My old Legacy GT (EJ251, 5MT) was noticeably winded at highway speeds, so lane changes had to be approached with a fair amount of caution, since it was not that quick to, say, do a 55mph to 70mph pull in 4th.

I'll defend certain instances with left exits. I take a left exit every day on the way to work. If I'm going 65-70 in a 55, and the exit is coming up in 15 seconds, I'm not going to pull into the right lane, slow down, let you pass, and then cut off the guy behind you as I swerve over to take my left exit. Sorry, nope, deal with admiring my debadged trunk. Probably two or three times a month, someone is riding my ass into the exit. It's not my fault it's on the left, and I'm not going to make a lane change that will result in me having to either cut you off again, or cut off the guy behind you. 15 seconds is kinda my minimum. I won't get in the right lane if I'm going to need to be back in the left lane in 15 seconds (i.e. I need a left exit, or there is a slow car ahead in the right lane that I'll reach in <15 seconds). I find that most drivers won't successfully pass me in 15 seconds or less, so I'll either need to cut them off or slam on my brakes and get behind them.

I used to flash to pass, but then I got HIDs. Fuck that noise. You ain't worth the wear and tear on a pair of $100 bulbs. Honking and tailgating and swerving are for assholes.

I think the rules should be more enforced on certain types of roads. PA turnpike, it's a 2 lane divided highway with only occasional right exits and a 65mph speed limit, that's the perfect place to start enforcing it more. Schuykill expressway, also 2 lane divided, but it has very short merges on both sides all over the place, and is really twisty and crazy to drive on, and it's generally got a pretty high volume, so it can be real dicey to drive on, and you're only on for a short distance (which could take hours, depending on if there is traffic. Fuck you, Schuykill expressway). I don't think they'd gain anything from enforcing it there, left lane campers aren't really a thing because all the exits and merges on the left means that it's turning over really quickly. Instead, they need to ticket people who come to a complete stop at the end of an on-ramp. Do you not know how to merge? If I see someone do that, I'll park my ass on the shoulder of the on ramp an eighth of a mile or more behind you, and wait for you to figure out how to get on the highway, so that I can merge on going at the same speed of traffic without causing an accident by merging onto a 55mph road at 10mph.

However, the entire concept pretty much falls out the window when there is traffic. I'd certainly be pissed if I was sitting in traffic in the left lane crawling at 10mph and I got a ticket for not passing the guy in the right lane who happened to be crawling at 11mph at the moment.

Discuss.
1. Nope, I push the pace of traffic in the left lane.

2. On occasion, I have been known to do so...I usually only reserve such a move for extreme circumstances.
2.5. If the car ahead is not passing anyone in the lanes to the right, has plenty of opportunities to move over, and is holding up traffic, then, no, it's not rude.

3. No, I do not honk to pass, but I will honk when I pass if I have to go out of my way to pass someone who is holding up traffic and refuses to move over.
3.5. If the car ahead is not passing anyone in the lanes to the right, has plenty of opportunities to move over, and is holding up traffic, then, no, it's not rude.

4. No, I do not intentionally swerve to get the driver's attention. I wouldn't say that it's rude, but it is most certainly not the safest thing to do.

5. Oh, yes.

So I should change in between some slower drivers while slamming my brakes?

No

Yes, I camp the left lane....
...if my exit is coming up on the left.
