Thank you for the DIY, and a special thank you to JPM Coachworks for the parking brake boot and the Kneepads.

The part numbers I posted above are for the synthetic leather with red stitch...aka, the "JDM" ones that everyone wants. These come standard on the 2014's, so they can be ordered from your local dealer using the numbers above.

For Center Console Knee-pad & Armrest Installation - Simultaneously - Remove the Console, then Drill for Armrest Installation.
You actually get to the point where the console is nearly loose anyway to install the knee-pads, so just 4 more screws around the base of the gear shifter + 2 more larger screws at the bottom of the console below the arm rest cavity and the console comes out free and clear. Once the console is out as one large piece of plastic, adjusting the template fit conveniently, drilling the console perimeter accurately, cleaning the drilled holes thoroughly, then setting and re-installing the armrest is a much easier process than doing it when the console is still wedged between seats in the car. You save considerable time and effort on installing the Armrest, once you pull the console out as part of installation process for the knee-pads. Sorry, I did not take photos, but it was a very clean and smooth installation that way. Last edited by Zagmeister; 09-04-2013 at 03:51 PM. |

Does anyone know how to access the bottom screws of the center console in a limited with the dual climate control? I can't figure out if the whole piece pops out or not but I'm not about to pry on it to find out..

Damn I should start test "crash" driving my car from now on. Apparently I am missing out on a number of thrills and hooker encounters... :[
