Don't worry, we don't like those ugly, halogen headlights

My only point is this.

Nothing inherently "belongs" to 10 Series owners other than the cars in their garages. Even down to the paint I can demonstrate the ability to purchase and apply any of these so-called exclusive features. I bought these parts because I wanted them and I've posted in this thread so that others who might want to do the same could see that it can be done.

If your over all of the....

Do you need me to check this weekend to see which wiring harness the photocell/light sensor plugs into..??

Also you might want to check with @nigel-jdmparts for the correct steering wheels stalk.

This is my understanding of what the thread has become.
10 Series owners = Fancy aristocrats drinking tea and crumpets
Non 10 Series owners = Unwashed masses hootin and hollerin

Well honestly I wasn't planning on changing out the stalk, same with the auto lights.

I think really the only exclusive parts are the light up badges, interior trim, shift knob, etc.

Get off your high horse and find a clue. Our dealers' actions are not grounds for anything. Y'all are acting like we had to sneak around a dimly lit parts warehouse and rob these poor Series 10 owners of parts that are held behind lock and key. NEWSFLASH! The majority of the 86s that roll off the line have these parts installed. What makes your car so special?
I am glad you both passed grade 2 reading. If you took the time to read what I posted, it clearly states I would NOT be sueing, nor that I care if non-10 series owners get the headlights. I merely asked a question if people thought about doing it, because this wouldn't be the stupidest thing in court these days. There are plenty of previous class action lawsuits over false & deceptive advertising, whether it be MPG, Horsepower (btw maybe we should all sue Toyota/Subaru for saying 200hp).

But thank you for making this forum such a great and welcoming place.

Sorry to send this thread plummeting down a cliff, with just a curious question.

You're the one that brought up litigation. Now show me where I said you personally were going to sue. Oh wait, didn't. I just implied that the idea was stupid, and it is. Furthermore, cut the second grade reading bullshit attempt at an insult. This isn't high school.

Are the 10 Series headlights the exact same as the JDM/EDM headlights? Every pic I see of the LED strip, they seem a yellowish color, unlike the pure white of the JDM/EDM model. Anybody have clarity on this?

Why? It seems like they are narrowing the ability to make money when they could be getting many many more customers

Nope, The boxes are still sitting there in the living room and will be for the next couple of weeks until I can get some free time take my bumper off. What's really holding everything up was my effort to find the connector used for the leveling switch. After meditating on the problem I'm going to solder another connector to the leads on the switch itself ...

I don't know about exact, but they're definitely close to pure white.

Can anyone answer if you simply purchase the housing itself and not the entire assembly, (presumably to work with aftermarket HIDs) will you need the harness as well in order for the LEDs to function?

I imagine they are similar to the BRZ diagram. Part #7
