How many were made? 2,500? Sure that's rare for a mass produced car, but it's not like it's 1 of 50 (or even less). If I had a 10 series, I'd mod the shit out of it.

That being said, my bicycle (as pictured in my avatar) is #2 of 10. I ride the hell out of it (as pictured in my avatar) but I haven't so muched as touched a bar end.

I'm just doing cosmetic mods. I'm not sure I trust the engine enough to do any mods that void a warranty. I got the Borla exhaust, tint, and spoiler when I bought it at the dealership. I just installed the clear side markers. I have a back-up camera and plan on installing it sometime this weekend. I have a shift knob on the way. I'm guessing I'll get it in two weeks and will be installing it as soon as it comes in.

I might do wheels and tail lights at some point in the future. I have been debating those clear Tom's.

You asked for opinions, here is my take: Mod the shit out of it. Seriously, it's hideous. Lets put blue glowing emblems on a silver car. Ok cool, until you open the door and see red accented interior. So we now have blue lights, silver paint, black interior, red accents. Mod the shit out of it now! Just my $.02

I added a spoiler but stuck with the one available via the dealer. Going to add other minor cost cosmetics like the aluminum interior overlays for the door and lower front console areas, and a cup holder-inset console with the same trim as the interior. Maybe the FR-S shoulder belt pads and knee pads.
Clear side markers, and all-weather FR-S floor mats to keep the carpet nice. I am also wanting to upgrade the exhaust tips to a rolled edge version and switch to a shark fin antenna.
I would love to upgrade the seats to heated leather at some point, but depends on cost.
That's probably all I'll do. Whoever buys it eventually will likely want to out more money into it than I can... Mortgage and student loans take precedence right now -lol.

The way I am going about my modding, is that I want to be able to return the car back to stock when necessary. So as long as I keep the OEM parts I remove, and purchase new OEM parts for anything that has been altered, I'm good to go.

I was considering some sort of vinyl wrap to change the color of the car, but... the Silver Ignition has really grown on me, and I don't really want to change it now.
