back on topic, did you ever get a chance to remove the fitting to see if anything weird was going on back there? could you take some pics of it?

^^ Check his thread in the brake section, he melted the dust boot on at least one of the pistons in his front calipers.
That's a more likely culprit for a soft pedal than a vacuum leak.

Greetings all, it has been said in this thread quite well already, in no way will the vacuum hose to the brake booster cause your brakes to fail to function. It is simply a vacuum assist. That said, that fitting should remain tight. being plastic if there is any sort of load on the fitting it could loosen or potentially be damaged so do take care upon installation. All of these fittings are checked before the product ships. However if you do experience an issue, please contact us directly. We want to document it and take corrective action to keep you on the road.

That is not 100% true. Having zero vacuum assist will cause the brakes to be massively difficult to engage. Imagine going 10/10th's into a corner and your pedal just became 200% more difficult to press. You just had an accident.

That being said, the innovate kit comes with a brake booster hose. Is that necessary/recommended to switch from the factory one on a LHD, 6MT FRS? |

Yeah the more analysis and insight from feedback on the forums seems to lead to cooking the brakes.
The strange thing was when I moved the fitting left to right the brake pedal started to fall when someone was in my car with the foot on the brake. Perhaps it was just an oddity. Also after applying locktite and letting it sit over night the pedal pressure issues were gone. I ordered some new rotors, pads, fluid (motul rbf 600 - what I was running), and titanium heat shims. I'll be back on the track the first weekend of October. Thanks to @Innovate Motorsports for the quality tech support over the phone. I did inspect the fitting before install (about 5-6 weeks ago) and it was tight. Interesting that it would come loose. I'll keep an eye on it although the locktite should hold it in there.
