I just got a Borla EL header. Is it as nice as a JDL? No. Can I get my hands on a JDL so I can enjoy the quality in those pics? No. Or a FA20Club? No. Or a P&L? No. Or a Nameless? HA!

I may get a better header later, but right now I had money and Borla had product; noone else did. Guess who got my money.

This was very true for me. P&L had stock so they got my money.

@loogs Thank you for your feedback. your picture tells me Borla did take steps to revise their design; I see some spot welding on the bottom of the flange. Mine had no such welds. I agree Borla has top notch customer support. I'm still waiting on my replacement, they are backlogged on production.

Now imagine the frustration of having to wait 3 weeks every time you had to send it back, 2 times in a row. The first time most of us didn't notice it til the post came out, then grab some tools, check for leaks... Well fuck, cars down while we wait for replacement.

@Adeets man, you ever thought maybe just let everyone else fuck themselves over? Let them be ignorant, let them waste their money.

People are going to do what they want, regardless of what you say. I wouldn't waste my time if I were you.

So far so good with my Borla UEL that I ordered two or three weeks ago. Fit was great plus the sound and performance to back it up. I guess only time will tell how it will hold up.

Yes, but that's not the point of this forum.

common behavior in service industry:

Have a good experience and tell 1 or 2 people.

Have a bad experience and tell 10 + people.

yes forums are for sharing experiences good, bad, and ugly but there is also a level of respect that is easily forgotten.

I'm sorry if you got a bad header, got butthurt, and want to beat a dead horse in other peoples posts.

OP: Enjoy your new purchase in good health. I loved my UEL. And I went Borla because I have used their products since 1998 and have never had an issue with their products or their customer service.

All I'm saying is you can't fix stupid. So then you end up looking like a troll or a fanboy because no one is budging or seeing the light.

Whatever though man, just noticed you taking over the thread completely and for what really? If you're that into it then by all means, have at it.

Borla shipped me a replacement header while I kept the old one on the car. No downtime. I just asked nicely and they said no problem!

Dk where you come off saying this, I went revworks lol im just choosing not to troll threads talking trash about borla like a woman whos been cheated on.

If borla violated you that badly by sending you bad headers then maybe you should sue for emotional duress?

Just sayin.

This is not OP's UEL. This is my EL. It certainly doesn't have the artistry of the nicer headers out there, but it's not the bodge job in the photos posted above.

Inside the collector. Not pretty, but not horrible. You can see they filed down the splatters on the exit pipe. I may do a little more TLC in this area.

Flanges:

This arrived today and was drop-shipped to me directly from Borla, so this should be a good example of the quality of the product coming from their factory now. It's not the best, but it's not bad either.
