What does the "fitting" on the back of the Innovate Supercharger, have to do with the brakes? I'm confused.

It routes a vacuum line to the brake booster. It was strange that when I moved the fitting the pedal lost pressure. Most people think it wasn't the culprit but not 100% sure yet.

Awesome thread, thanks for posting all this! I'm registered for the Track Daze VIR event in November and this just made me even more excited!

Out of curiosity, did those S2000s you took photos of actually run in the event? It's been my understanding that no convertibles can take to the track without aftermarket roll over protection. Not sure about the yellow one, but the red one definitely did not have a roll bar.

This is why I was never able to take my S2000 to VIR

I'm not sure, they were not in my group and I don't remember seeing the red one running. I think rules differ from track to track but generally roll bars are required for convertibles. SCCA didn't require them when I was at Summit Point last.

They can vary from track to track, but I know with certainty that VIR doesn't allow 'verts without aftermarket roll protection. It is stated on their website. On the flip side they're not required at CMP, CMS, or RRR (tracks I have taken my S2000 to).

The yellow one was definitely on track. He was in the blue group with me and quite quick. I was having a fun time trying to keep him behind me right up until I Nearly went 4 off at The Corner Formerly Known as Oak Tree ® and let him pass.

The videos really don't do the elevation changes justice. VIR has some really challenging sections. Ask Richard Hammond.

Looks like fun despite the issues. I'm jealous of all the run off AU tracks are mostly street circuit ish. That oil temp is super low!
