This isn't a 2 step aka Launch Control...

Very very cool! Nice job. Liked the flat foot shift video as well.

are there any benefits for a NA engine when using this Launch Control against plain revving and letting the clutch go?

I mean for turbo these benefits are evident ( boosting on a steady car), but what do you get on NA?

Consistency, Visconti also stated they could mess with the timing, fuel and traction aid while in launch control mode.

Anti-lag is not a rev limiter or launch control. The simple explanation is it is a tune that changes the timing and fueling. Most of the combustion that would normally push the piston down is fed through the exhaust and up to the turbo. That force from the combustion spins the turbo and there you have it, boost!

EDIT: Just refreshed the page and saw that a couple people beat me to the punch and had a better explanation. Now I see that I was dumbing it down too much

Still trying to understand this, as i want to start playing around with this and testing the ecutek features once my clutch is broken in.

So you basically flat foot throttle, and keep that down, then let the clutch off fast? Like "pop" the clutch pedal, or do you just let off the clutch gradually like regular? Isnt real clear on the video.

It took me about 3 tries to get comfortable with it. Car has to be at 0 mph, push the clutch in (hold it all the way in), put the car into 1st gear, then push the gas pedal quickly all the way to wot (hold it down the entire time) and have faith that the car will go into "launch control mode" adjust your launching RPM from there.... while holding the clutch and gas pedals all the way down. While keeping the gas pedal fully engaged smoothly and somewhat quickly release the clutch... the faster you release the clutch the more violent the launch will be. After a few tries you will figure out your preferred "method" of releasing the clutch. Really just practice it a few times and you will be fine. Next step after you figure out launch control is figuring out flat foot shifting hehehe (coolest thing ever).

I have the launch control setup on my car as well. Except to activate it I just rev the car up in neutral with my foot off the clutch to say 4000rpm(doesn't really matter how high or low I just don't like doing it off idle) and then push the clutch in and stab the throttle to the floor. It goes to 4500rpm and stays until I release/dump the clutch lol.
