Taiwan. Make of what you will. I will pass however.

not sure if you know but ill share more info... most "JDM" lights are made in taiwan

one good example is the JDM TOM's Tail lights. JDM company but lights are made in taiwan

taiwan lights are as good as japanese lights as it passes their standards

I'm running similar side markers with amber LED bulbs from Diode Dynamics. Looks totally amber at night and clear white during the day.

Yes, we offer both the amber and super white LEDs for the FR-S and BRZ. Our favourite is the super white and it looks perfect with HIDs and super white front turn signal LEDs =)

The installation was made easy with this DIY . Total install time took about 15 minutes total. I did also switch out the amber bulbs to white LED bulbs (same bulb size as the rear license plate).

I always thought the OEM side markers sorta matched GBS color, but now after looking around, I really want the clear side markers.

Which do you think looks better, the smoked or clear? Can't really tell from the pictures what it'll look like in direct sunlight. Also do you have a pic of them lit with the white led bulbs?

As you can tell, I think the smoked are ideal for a dark colored car. My objective was to get the side marker to disappear into the car and not draw attention from the better lines of the car.

If you like the shape/placement/whatever of the sidemarkers, get the clear ones.

I'll see if I can take some additional pics later after work.

@KelvinBRZ, sorry for the delay. I took a pic of the sidemarker in direct sunlight, and then one of it lit up at night.

One thing to say about the helix side markers, they allow condensation in. I wouldn't go cheap and just et the real deal and not have to worry which is what I did

condensation will only happen if you dont screw the socket to the housing very well.

been running helix for a long time already without any condensation.

Peace of mind is definitely something to consider. I'll have to keep an eye out but I've had them on for a couple months, no rain but weekly washing, and I haven't noticed any issues.
