Below are my results. Torque curve looks super flat for an NA dyno...just wish there was more of it! I might go back once I install my over and front pipe and see what kind of difference that makes.

Mods:
aFe Takeda intake
Perrin pulley
JDL UEL header
stock over and front pipe
Agency Power catback
e85 fa20 tune

oh wow, completely removed the torque dip-- I bet power delivery in-car is badass now.

However, Keith took me for a ride in his car and its ruined my perception of an N/A FRS forever now.

All in all both products are wonderful. I love both kits for what it is. If you want lots of power the vortech just tears it up and is available right now. in the US we do not have intercooler setups for the Innovate as of yet. Also the vortech can be upgraded (but if your concerned with high power you may want to look into a turbo instead).

I have first hand snapped my belt, the night of the dyno event. It was horrible. It destroyed multiple pulleys and we are still not 100% sure the cause. It was likely due to the smaller pulley & the original belt supplied by vortech being too large for the small pulley. We have since switched it and are testing.

I think me and keith are both pleased with the superchargers we chose for our different desires. I would definitely do a vortech my self again and i think Keith would likely stay innovate if he did it again as well. At least... as of this week now that we had @FA20Club.com fly down and tune these cars for us. It was night and day difference on that innovate after it was tuned by Toni.

We will post a comparison with more info once we get the other plots & possibly do further testing.
As Marin said, I am very happy with the way the car feels now on e85. For those wanting this kit down here in the AZ heat, you will need e85 or the intercooled version to run pump sufficiently. The piss poor 91/e10 California gas we get is not enough for this unit on the car. Once the intercooler is released I will be one of the first to have it on. My next upgrades for this kit will be an oil cooler and possible 70mm pulley. I would like to gauge the differences my car will make with these before the intercooler upgrade. I will be posting dyno charts as these go on in the next few weeks. It will give everyone a better comparison of the two kits. At this point it is not a fair comparison on the two kits as he is on a higher boost pulley than I am. He makes about 5-6psi more. Once I get the pulley and cooling our comparison will continue.

Yeah... I need to pop that 3.48 pulley back on and re-run with E85 now that im almost back to 85% ethenol. I mostly posted for the fact your torque is so much significantly higher than mine even with the high boost pulley i have installed. Its quite nice.

Auto only =/ i need to get us a manual down there at some point soon. Maybe when i go in to re-plot my E85 for crank horsepower. I know a few of us still need to go in and finish tuning.

if I dont have to pay for the run, you can toss my car up on the dyno to get a baseline, itll take me like 5min to swap the OEM intake (with OEM filter).

Sent from...somewhere?
Just received notice, we have the Intercooled version arriving in SA within the month.
So you say the IC Innovate will be better than the Vortech?

Better? Idk about it being better. It will def be a better "comparison"of the two kits once the IC version is available. Both kits run great in different ways once fine tuned

It would be better than the non-IC version of the Innovate/Sprintex kit.

Took a look at both cars. Brents was leaking due to heat cycles. Theses need to be re torqued after a heat cycle. I pulled the header off and checked the flanges. Bother were straight. I re installed it, got it hot, re torqued the header, and added some sea foam to ensure we had no leaks. Car is leak free now

The other car def had an issue and im correcting that now. It would be nice if we didnt get throw us under the bus as soon as there was an issue. We are here to help you guys so dont hesitate to ask

We recommend starting with the single bolt and then torque the outer 2. Also stainless steel expands and contracts with heat cycles so it would be a good idea to check on them from time to time

Better? Well that depends on what you consider better...

I dont know what the cooling system is like on the innovate but the non-intercooled edition is much easier to install than the vortech (though you do have to remove fuel components so as long as you are comfortable). And removing the belt is much simpler. The oil is harder to change, but you do it much less often than the vortech, which i like.

Vortech has been around longer, and has a long reputation and stands by their products. I feel their kit is much more complicated to install.

However when it comes to power delivery? As we don't have access to an intercooled edition in the US yet we cannot test, but we will likely be running comparison tests once they start to pop up. As for non intercooled? The vortech has a nicer pull on the top end. I made a good 25% more horse power at peak than the innovate guys (I am waiting on this dyno from the shop to show). However the torque was lower. So when it came down to higher rev's and acceleration the vortech was better. But when it came out to balanced torque distribution the innovate wins. It is your choice as to which you want.

Also note the vortech has a decent amount of headroom. I am not even maxing mine out revolution wise and I dyno'd almost 50% higher peak power than the innovate (which was not maxed out, but afaik it doesn't have too much headroom above that).

I love both the kits, and feel they both have their place. If you have access to E85 then that is another bonus, the innovate ran great after we pumped e85 into the system.

@JDLAutoDesign glad to see it wasn't a huge deal! Now we need to find some time to re-dyno
