Indeed. Last I checked the CFM was in the 445 range if its their #210 model blower from sprintex.

Yep, just verified. 445 CFM. The next largest one in the S5 line is 710 CFM.

Well on my way home from work "cruising at 3k RPM's cruise control on" My charger sounded like it was at red line randomly so I started to pull over and clutched in. When I can to a stop the charger sounded like a chainsaw (no CEL) so i turned my car off. My tuner "PREracing" Bobby woke up after hours to check things out. He cut my belt and my car started right up and purred like a kitten. My car is now resting at the shop until I can figure things out tomorrow. Jason at nameless performance also picked up his phone to talk to me and address some concerns with the charger but unfortunately he was out of state and couldn't assist me. So glad I live in the NW where we have so many amazing saints of the auto industry.

So THIS DID TAKE PLACE. What caused the issue? Unclear now. I'm not a master mechanic but my install was flawless!

My follow up.

After this had taken place I woke up to a phone call by Innovate who told me a new blower and belt was being sent to PRE. I called PRE to confirm this and they said I would be up and running by the end of Sat. I had asked if they would put my car on the dyno to make sure everything looked good. They said yes. I went and picked up my car Sat at 2pm (way sooner then I expected) Innovate got me back on the road within a day!

Now the interesting.
PRE never diagnosed my car after I had dropped it off. Never put another belt on the old blower to fire it up. Only told me it was making a noise the other blower wasn't when spinning it by hand. They also never put it on the dyno before my pick up. Told me I would have to come back another day. Sunday (the day after I picked up my car) I started to get a stumbling RPM issues and my car actually died on me in a parking garage. So I called Bobby and he told me to bring my car in. I scheduled with PRE to come in at 11:30 today.

Today - Took my car in for my scheduled time at 11:30am but they were dealing with a SRT-4 that was having issues on the dyno so my car was never put on the dyno. At 1:15ish Bobby got a chance to run out to my car and reflash it (I had to be to work soon). (I also kept getting a P0420 code for my header that he had to disable) He changed my idle fuel trims and now the car seems fine at idle until I turn my wheel while clutched in which causes the car to dip still.

Also still getting belt squeal at hard shift.

Borrowing a buddy's gopro to take video of all my noises and going from there.

INNOVATE has been awesome throughout this whole little hick-up. It turns out for some magical reason after they got the blower it was fine. So it puzzles me to how all this happened. I'm now starting to believe it's possibly a tune issue.

- I was never in possession of the car after this happened. PRE and Innovate worked it out. If it was actually the blower (this needs to be determined) then Innovate would have gotten a 100% for warranty.

So atm I'm puzzled and at work and want to drive my car off a cliff for all it's done to me in the past 12 months of ownership.

But thank you Innovate Motorsports A+ for customer service. I look forwards to our conversations to come.

Superchargers don't just start making horribly noises for no reason. Your tune may be bad, but it probably had nothing to do with the blower. There is some information that Innovate probably wouldn't want floating around the forum. Regardless, they took good care of you.

The supercharger rotors were probably fine, but a bearing in the drive extension on the front of the supercharger probably went bad. Would probably make a horrible noise, but is easily replaced and the supercharger would still be functional after servicing. That's just my theory anyways...

How will you feed the IAT sensor signal back to the ECU?
