for me personally, 200ps is adequate. another 50 more is probably all that i'd ever need.

i want something i can enjoy driving on the street. and i don't want a car that's only fun to drive at speeds that will get me banned. hence EVO/WRX etc are not my cup of tea.

Seems like a lot of people that are complaining about the 86's specs are in need of a RWD coupe, with good HP, braking, handling, styling and so forth.. well it already exists and its called a 135i. So why haven't you bought one?

2 reasons...
The indicator stalk is on the wrong side of the column.
It costs $80,000.

Used 135i's start in the high 40k bracket, maybe an option for some...
Would be cheaper and more reliable than turbocharging an NA 86.
(Though not be cheaper when it comes to problems with electrics and air-con etc).

Do what I did. Send them a polite message thanking them for the update, but explaining the only Toyota you are interested in is the one built by Subaru.

BMW ownership isn't for the faint hearted, upkeep is always the drawback. Although I put a lot of reliability down to poor maintenance, which most are.

Price and pre-ordering...

The rumoured price of $35k to $40k sounds more like it though, not sure if that is a drive away price or just the car.

anyone pre ordered the car yet? If so, could you give me the you've placed deposit price?

another question, i heard a rumour that they are doing a limited release, could anyone clarify that?

(i should have started a new thread, aye?) i hope i didn't just this thread. LOL!
