Other cars you own?

I just picked up a third car a few weeks ago and I wondered who else has multiple cars.
I have had a 96 Jeep Cherokee XJ I have had for a few years now, my FRS I picked up in May and I just picked up a 90 240sx coupe I already have swapped the s13 silvia front end on to.
The 240 is where I am going to be putting my project car money at since the s-chassis will always be my first love. Since I now have a project I am starting to drive the FRS more. I was babying the FRS a little bit since it was new...but I am over that train of thought.
So who else has a second or third car? Any projects?

Hmmm......well, I've had several project cars and pickup trucks in the past ..... but now that I'm older & retired, I have the time ..... but don't have the energy or money for another project vehicle ....

Enjoy your project vehicles ....

I've been toying with the idea of picking up an old LS1 trans am or camaro and dumping some cash in to supercharge it. Those can reach 11's with a "mild" tune with a procharger kit (heck some on ls1tech have gotten there N/A without much engine work at all), and I think I could easily get 10's with some drag radials and other mods.

Its funny, because I was going to buy an ls1 camaro until the FRS & BRZ came out! Then I fell in love with the car but my power itch is coming back.

Its probably not worth the money and effort but damn it would be a fun project

I've got an '05 Tiburon I've been daily driving since '06. I didn't know anything about cars when I bought it, but that slowly changed over time as well as the car. Fearing the thought of driving around South Mississippi with no AC (because that's certainly where I was headed with it) I decided to buy a project car: the FR-S.

I wanted a nimble sports car, and trying to turn a big fat FWD Tiburon into one would be quite a challenge. It's already half-gutted, riding on Tein coilovers, decent tires, and fully chassis reinforced with the exception of a roll cage. A 2,700 lb RWD car with an 18.5" (I think. Didn't bother to verify) center of gravity, and excellent steering communication from the factory just makes so much more sense. Plus the aftermarket... jeez...

I think I'm kind of backwards to a lot of people; using my old car for my reliable transportation, and the brand new one to "ruin" by gutting it. Makes it all that more fun.

EDIT: Oh, and just yesterday I was looking at an '06 Corolla XRS on AutoTrader that only has 31k miles on it. I was very tempted...

My other car is a 2011 GTI. Lots of interior space, relatively soft/numb ride. It complements the FR-S as a practical & comfortable hot hatch. Not really a project, only minor mods, but will eventually give it a stage 1 tune (250hp/300tq) to complete its transformation into a torquey commuter car. Also does decently at the track for times when the FR-S isn't ready to go.

In a couple of years, I'll probably trade it in for a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited if I have kids. May try getting into off-roading as I hear that's a lot of fun.

1990 Supra Turbo for the weekends. Just sold my 91 Supra with 1JZ swap. Definitely miss it.

But can't beat the FR-S as a DD.

In addition to my FR-S, I have a '95 Toyota 4Runner 4WD, which I'm building up as a mild trail rig to go off roading in. Also own a '69 Mustang fastback. It was my first car, which I bought in 1986. I don't ever plan on selling it. I'm in the process of adding A/C, power windows/locks, an AOD, etc. And last but not least a '99 F250 Superduty diesel, because tow rig... (:
