Yes you can completely disable it by not engaging the system but why on earth would you do that ![]() The car drives in negative boost all the time unless you go wot. That is @Thatruth2001 that is getting the drift office tune. He has talked about going to pir a couple times once he is tuned. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 |

It sounds complicated but it really isn't. The car drives like a NA FRS from 0 to 95 percent throttle and once you go to 100 percent you are greeted with 60 to 40 HP more. A smooth surge of power. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 |

So does it activate once the car switches to closed loop, or when you go to WOT (which is only 80%, our cars never go past 80% throttle)? The car will switch to closed loop anytime you increase throttle from a cruise, not just at WOT.

^ I didn't even read, but that was my guess.
Not going to take input from the TPS. Probably could move that switch around / modify it if you wanted it to open up slightly earlier. Wouldn't be surprised if that was mentioned before as well though :-). |

@fenton is there no way for the controller to reat the throttle position sensor and turn on the E-Charger that way?
to me the physical switch looks like it may wear out over time, or even break if you hammer the throttle (which I tend to do when shifting hard) |

You could do it on tps but that adds cost. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 |

To be fair... my original thoughts on this were similar. Slapping a switch on the pedal seems a bit ghetto... but just a couple weeks ago I was replacing a switch on a friend's car because his brake lights stopped working. In the end, it's a perfectly good option and completely normal. |

I believe at one point car manufacturers had switches mounted under the gas pedal as well.
ie. My 1992 Lexus SC400... Oh look. Lexus IS-F as well... http://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-f...gas-pedal.html |
