Here it is again.
That oil is vented to the road[atmosphere]

Also even with a can to catch the oil, the air going into the intake stream will still have oil in it, this will coat the inside of your IC pipes or intake on a na application. We vent ours to the atmosphere, leaving your engine sucking nothing but fresh air.

The pressure is vented to the atmosphere which can contain oil particles which is why the can is baffled and filtered before the atmosphere unlike closed loop systems

The D3PE filters it before it vents to atmosphere and the Provent can either do that or filter it before it goes back into the engine. A catch can isn't rocket science, so buy the one you want.
Thank you! lol :happy0180:

What made you decide to do that? I wish I got to see yours like that while I was down there to see how much comes out at idle compared to mine.

After looking at my filter after Dyno day, I can say at high PSI I am most probably also seeing a good amount of blow by.

Was looking at the car while on a lift, saw the filter stained with oil and the way the filter seated, if the car ever for any unexpected reason wanted to throw a lot of oil at the catch can, it was going directly towards the tires, so basically a safety concern. Maybe overkill, or overthinking it, but just thought better smell some fumes than loose control of the car at 100 mph.

Gotta pay to play bro. $300 isn't bad, you should be glad companies are making quality parts for these cars. Now stop whining.
