BRZ STI Steering wheel???

Hey, getting anxious about my BRZ arriving soon.

I'm seriously considering going with the whole STI look (wheels, body kit, etc).

I've found just about every part in japanparts.com, including the STI shift knob and push to start button.

However, I haven't been able to find the STI steering wheel, which in terms of looks, is major if you want your car to look like a JDM tS replica.

From what I've seen in pictures, it could even be just the center cover of the steering wheel, since it's not an entirely different steering wheel like the TRD is for the GT86.

Anyone has any idea or info regarding the STI steering wheel?

Hey congrats on your BRZ order. Anyway, as far as the steering wheel replacement / badge, I'm sure we'll see more of the BRZ tS parts trickle in the next couple of weeks as I think the tS was just announced, not sure if it's even in production yet. As far as that specific part, I hate to say it but it's probably going to sold as a whole similar to how those replacing their scion airbags with 86 airbags have to order the whole unit rather than just the top cover.

I wouldn't count on any additional parts from the tS to be released individually any time soon, prolly not at least until calendar year 2014. With a limited edition run of 750 units, I'm sure STi wants to create an air of exclusivity for those owners for a while. With that in mind, the steering wheel you can try searching off the forester tS, the bbk off the WRX (check the forums, plenty of people have done it) and the recaros are just sportster cs. Anyway, it'll be cool to see another STi build join us =D

I'd second that. STI probably won't release any of these parts in the near future, if at all as it would grossly devalue their tS model before it's even released for sale.

The only correction though is the BBK is from the GRB impreza STI, not the base WRX.

I plan on getting the Cusco steering wheel (very OEM-ish):

That Cusco wheel looks clumpy and gross. I would love another wheel like my old DAMD D-shaped STI wheel.

I had JPM wrap my steering wheel with the optional 1/8" OD increase. Felt a lot better, you can see the wheel in my build thread. I'm actually replacing it though with the TRD wheel. Even larger OD, slightly smaller circumference, and lighter weight. Felt even better in my hands and just couldn't say no to it. So on that note...I have a steering wheel for sale =D

lol what was posted is the features list of the tS. If it shows up on this link: http://www.sti.jp/parts/catalogue/brz_zc6/index.html

THEN it means its for sale individually.
