i don't know about the other colors, but as much as i want your statement to be true, i highly doubt it...

i think the scion's whiteout is a true white, whereas subie's satin white pearl is... well, a pearl white, heh...

if subie offered the brz in plain white [aka: aspen white], i wouldn't have so much trouble deciding between the two models...

for me:
subie > scion
brz > fr-s
...but i hate pearl white [subie]

i might end up getting the fr-s though, since it comes in "real" white and they are virtually the same car...

but a SCION, really??? [no offense to anyone]
i guess i can slap on some toyota badges...

OR

i can get a different color brz, but i really want [real] white... like my first and second cars, both subies, btw...

Wait wasn't the weight split into Front 53 Rear 47? Well the Toyota brochure said that

This says 55 45

With 2 occupants it is 53/47 but by itself is 55/45...

we don't know for sure, since no one has seen it in person, but i agree...

satin white pearl ≠ whiteout

now, if the scion color was called super white, that would have been a relief; i guess we will find out soon enough...

Does anyone else notice how neither car company gives credit to the other for helping in the development process? Just an observation.

We know Subaru will have the Satin White Pearl but we have seen only the TRD varient of the Toyota in Satin White Pearl. Other ones in pictures are just regular white. I would actually prefer the Satin White, so I'm hoping whiteout is Satin Pearl, but I doubt it.

swp is nothing new from the subie camp... as a matter of fact, it has been offered for the sti since MY07 [i don't know about the other models]... so i know exactly what that color looks like; it's pearlescent [duh], so no go for me...

i'm pretty confident that scion's whiteout color will be a "true" white... i mean, just judging by it's name: whiteout, that has to be a pure white, no sparkly nonsense... imo, of course...

if it does in fact end up being some kind of pearl white, i will go with the brz, probably gun metal...

Look at the thread with the Japanese options. The Production colors are listed and well I was spot on. So go look there and see all the colors are the same as mention a page or so earlier. And Again just mentioning that just because it's sold as a SCION doesn't mean that they will give a whole new color Range to it, it's cost ineffective. White out IS Satin White pearl, FRS are just lower Spec 86 they're not going to create a whole new palette just for America. It's already confirmed by eye witness that Sterling silver is Argento from people who went to Detroit if you place a silver BRz next to a Silver FRS it's the same silver. Same Deal with Lighting Red and I think firestorm. So no way it's not the same white.

I gotta go look back to the dicussion I had with a Scion corporate person, who's tone on the FRS changed the moment I asked if firestorm was Lighting Red. He was pretty nice and enthusiastic until I seem more informed then him being on here on this forum. Let me go find it I know it's around my com somewhere.

I'll even mail them again to get them to tell me about white if everyone is curious too

This. Only difference is the orange for Scion and WRB Blue for Subaru.

Hmm really? Sounds cool. I hope Scion does have SWP, either that honestly, Gray or Red.
For Subi - Silver or Blue
