I guy at work has a VW Golf GTI. I have on my work's HP laptop background set and flip a new background pictures of FR-S and BRZ. So he is giving me a hard time about the pictures. Then he states that one other engineer as a BRZ out in the parking lot. The BRZ is parked about ten spaces away. Next he states that the BRZ has a Turbo because it's Subaru. I inform him that it has the same motor setup as mine. His jaw dropped open about ten feet open.

I try to avoid talking to people as much as possible
Random Guy - Nice car
Me - Thanks (starts packing groceries)
Guy - That's that Subaru FRS?
Me - BRZ
Guy - It's got 197 HP right?
Me - Actually 200
Guy - No, I read up on it, it's 197
Me - Uhmm yeah no, 200. Have a nice day (I proceeded to get in my car and drive off while he was still trying to talk)
Mind you he was one of those know it all people. Wasn't going to try and stick around

Technically, he was right. There seems to be a difference between what some media outlets say and what the official numbers are. A lot of reviews, including Top Gear if my memory serves me right, stated 197hp. The real number is probably one of these, but 200 is what is officially used, as it sounds better for Toyota/Subaru.

I think someone needs to make some type of "For Dummies" guide about these cars so that all you have to do when someone starts insisting upon the wrong information is show it to them instead of arguing with them when they think they're right. Guy posts on Facebook about his incorrect assumption? Boom, link and done.
