That is sad that an off road only disclaimer won't be sufficient anymore. But Amber is a fairly general color, I wonder if they could get away with a slightly tinted amber as a replacement.

Really dumb, it's a shame that there are so many more issues that could be dealt with but rhey focus on banning different colored brake fluid

The Typ200 Amber fluid is the same composition as the super blue, but being able to switch from one color to the next for every brake fluid change made it a lot easier.

Ah well. Thanks FMVSS.

I just purchased 2 cans of Super Blue.

I'm glad the government has fixed all the major issues within the US and now have the time to focus on issues like car color fluids.

I don't know much about BMW but don't they come out of the factory with ATE Super Blue brake fluid? I'm just saying because a buddy of mine had a BMW and asked me for some because his car requires it.

I wonder what kind of dye or pigment one could use that wouldn't affect the properties of the brake fluid.

good thing our country is taking care of business and saving us from ourselves.

I think I'm the first to say this, but I think is this a case of color discrimination?...

Seriously, this should have been like number 3 billion on the list of things to improve or repair in this country...

I still feel like I can see the bubbles better in the hose while bleeding with the blue. I love my ATE Super Blue.

No they don't and your buddy is an idiot. ATE Super Blue is very popular in BMWs, but it is in no way factory fill.

LOL, will this make me fail inspection?

The Honda Accord I gave to my sister is running Super Blue at the moment, guess its time to flush the lines.
