Simply double checking everything seems to be just fine. However even with this consideration vortech afaik has revised the pipe with a dimple to add extra clearance. The innovate is another story all together, i have heard of issues with covers, belts, etc but i don't know what are legitimately an issue or not. My friend has had issues with his belt covers, and keeps a belt in the car from concern. The innovate is also much more complicated to tune due to lack of IAT sensor. The vortech has slowly gotten revisions due to maturity and the quantity sold and is turning into a solid kit. And if you are going to increase power down the road the smaller pulley gives even more pipe clearance. I have also had a lot of issues with mine that have been cleared up in the more recent shipments. If you have any concerns feel free to PM me and I can clear them up for you. Also note the vortech kit does take a bit more work than people think, so if your new to working on cars consider a shop. I my self modified a number of components and installed alternatively. The innovate is a MUCH easier install, but has its own set of unique issues.

Vortech would be the way to go. Vortech's been in the industry for decades now, and the most important thing of all is that they manufacturer their own superchargers which is really awesome. I'd say go with Vortech and PM me if you want a price quote on the kit

Its nice to see them so actively modifying the system to make it better, and that they leave room for upgradeability. Also to mention they allow upgrading warranty, and even if you modify the system with a new pulley the warranty is "voided" but still in tact for a year from what i understand.

If you are not looking at purchasing right now, I saw the Jackson Racing kit at 86Fest and it looked nice. The kits should release in October so that's not too far off.

I have no problems with cars. Doing a type r tranny swap right now. It seems like most haters are just overly turbo fans. I love my turbos but id like to see what the superchargers gonna do and so far most things I hear about the vortech are good things |
