I totally agree with barefoot :-) I remember reading an article about how shoes effect our feet, that more expensive shoes with more technology doesn't mean it good for us. With more cushion on the shoe, there are muscles that we no longer uses or uses less of, but I heard it takes a while to make the change to develop those muscles again. I tried these on the other day and loved it, I think it would be great for driving. ![]() New Balance MT10 |

Lol all my non work and non dress shoes are "driving" shoes (drift cats and asics runspark) none of them are flame proof but. They aren't "professional" driving shoes but they have rolled grip heel and grip on side of toes. Comfortable for walking

i can't stand driving barefoot. you guys are weird.
for just driving around, i'm generally in my truck, so it doesn't matter. especially because it's an automatic. in the MR2 i wear my DC's on the street or at autocross. if i'm going to be doing lapping (it's been too long) then i'll wear my Pumas:

Chuck Taylor high tops I wear them about 90% of the time no matter what I'm doing and find they're flexible enough for good feel while driving. I might get some specific driving shoes someday if I ever try auto-x but probably not.

I got these for $20 at the reebok outlet near where I work. Can't say I notice much difference driving with them but I wear them because they look nice.

I wear Macbeth Brightons for driving...They are the more "sports" like shoe for Macbeth Shoes.
![]() I also have like 3 other pairs of Macbeths...I like them because they are low key...never seen anyone else with a pair of Macbeths in person besides me. I guess if you've never heard of them, then I'll tell you the founder of Macbeth shoes is Tom Delonge from the bands Blink-182 and Angels & Airwaves. They make a lot of cool stuff with their own style that I like and are super comfortable.
