Ms are good for beginners, don't disagree there, especially for $100 or so. Hell, I ran an M until I had to upgrade to SA. But a head's up that just because it's Snell that doesn't mean it's automatically SA.

Whoa... you're right!
Wasn't their fault, it was mine. Most everything I was looking at was SA2010, this one said Snell 2010, DOT approved. I didn't make the connection. (insert face palm)

What's the real difference? Is it for roll-bar impact, or something like that?

It's still a great helmet, and I was planning on upgrading to a lighter Bell one if I start tracking a lot more. I may upgrade a little sooner now.

It's impact mainly - SAs are designed for multiple impacts where as the Ms are for one bigger impact. Although, if you wrap your head off a roll bar/cage then it was either poorly designed and/or your safety gear failed. But that's another discussion altogether lol. The SAs have fire resistant materials too.

@Harbinger of Darkness thanks for the laugh.

I may swing by for helmets and a chat but I'm about 3 days behind on packing at this point, so don't let me stay long. (You guys are a bad influence usually).

Great thread, lets see how far it goes.

I'd add something to it, but I'm not drunk, and I can't think of anything clever at the moment.

There's the link for the HPDE (ADT) at Cayuga Poll for which Monday to go. Just wanted to get it on the most recent page.

That's awesome, I'd be interested in a wash. They are doing construction at the plant and my car is filthy from just sitting in the parking lot. Probably end up being between 17:30 and 18:00.

My better half is joining for a change. Is anyone putting in a reservation or do we not need one?
