This is happening more frequently to me lately. People just assume it has a turbo since its a Subaru. I had a guy with a WRX ask me over the weekend and another guy in a SRT Neon make the most shocked face ever when I told him it was a NA yesterday.

I was pulled over for speeding on an on ramp, officer asked if it was a turbo AWD; nope naturally aspirated rear-wheel drive! He said he was surprised I was going as fast as I was.

when i took my dad for a ride and gunned it he asked if it had a turbo. I told him no. Wasn't a big deal, but it seems no matter what, the first question people always ask to me is "is it fast?" It's a bit annoying. Why didn't scion just make it a 2.5 liter with 250 hp?? I think sales would've been better and people would stop with the, it only has 200hp response, or turbo/supercharger/v8 argument

When I get asked it it's a turbo. I say, "no it's a V8". And just walk away. Let them chew on that sh1t. Usually they get this look like they just bit into a piece of sh1t.

You might want to response with "Do you consider a 150 mph top speed fast?"
