"That's a turbo right?"
 

This is happening more frequently to me lately. People just assume it has a turbo since its a Subaru. I had a guy with a WRX ask me over the weekend and another guy in a SRT Neon make the most shocked face ever when I told him it was a NA yesterday. :D

I was pulled over for speeding on an on ramp, officer asked if it was a turbo AWD; nope naturally aspirated rear-wheel drive! He said he was surprised I was going as fast as I was.

You should've answer: "Yes, it's a turbo. I mean the 2017 models, maybe"

I try to quickly change the subject and highlight the positive features of the vehicle.

when i took my dad for a ride and gunned it he asked if it had a turbo. I told him no. Wasn't a big deal, but it seems no matter what, the first question people always ask to me is "is it fast?" It's a bit annoying. Why didn't scion just make it a 2.5 liter with 250 hp?? I think sales would've been better and people would stop with the, it only has 200hp response, or turbo/supercharger/v8 argument

Ive gotten that question, I say "no, thats why I bought it"

When I get asked it it's a turbo. I say, "no it's a V8". And just walk away. Let them chew on that sh1t. Usually they get this look like they just bit into a piece of sh1t.

You might want to response with "Do you consider a 150 mph top speed fast?"

I like to say "It's not very quick. However, it gets me laid quickly."

As of abt a week & a half ago--I say yes...

I don't, 150mph was fast in 2000. 200mph is the new 150mph. But anyways, you guys need to take a chill pill. Come to the realization that most people aren't car fanatics like us.

"Is it fast?"

"Yes, compared to a Prius"

I get asked that question all the time, but I can honestly say, "Yes, it has a turbo."
