They need to reintroduce their sports car that Obama killed.
They raced it in GT class and did well. |

Oh yeah, dur.., it's the Saturn Sky which was going to be the basis for the next Opel Speedster/VX220. Looked smaller w/ the original angle in the first pic. Funny how I complete forgot that car ever existed. Must have been the deteriorating rubber molding fresh from the factory.
Redline was Saturn's 'performance' versions. |

Funny you're choosing between these 2 cars, as my brother owns a new v6 Camaro.
Honestly, I'd say they're both on par with eachother. The FRS's interior is a bit nicer, but the Camaro is a couple grand cheaper for the base model. The important thing is to buy a car that you personally like, not the one that is best on paper. Everyone here will tell you to buy the FRS, everyone on Camaro5 will tell you to buy the Camaro. Even if one is slower, handles worse, or has a worse interior than the other, you won't really notice that once you get in the car and start driving it, and that's what really matters. If we all drove the most practical cars, most of us here would be driving Carollas. Since the Camaro is cheaper on top of the discount you're getting, I would say maybe go for the Camaro. But if you've always loved the FRS, and are only considering the Camaro because of the discount you'll get, then you should get the FRS. If money is that much of an issue, there are much cheaper cars you can find used. |

He's blaming the GM intervention...but that is pretty obvious. Regardless of cause, keep politics out of the discussion, per forum rules

Where can I find the forum rules though? All I've ever come across was this, which makes no mention of what can and can't be posted, aside from the obvious. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/misc.php?do=showrules |

Having Saturn didn't make any sense when GM already had other brands(chevy...) making budget vehicles.
There also wasn't any reason they couldn't have continued the Solstice/Sky as a chevy had they wanted. It doesn't really compete with the corvette. |
