Yeah i'm not really. But my friend is basically making me let him wrap them, and if it can help at all with the tinny sound coming from them, well thats just a plus lol.

FYI we do not warranty exhaust wrapped products. It doesnt allow for the metal to expand and contract properly. Coat it or leave it raw please.

There's only 2JZ car I know of running in the UAE, the official Toyota UAE Drift car driven by Ahmed Al Amri - and that was not an easy conversion with plenty of issues to this day, so where you're getting this '20 cars' number from is mystifying.

As Ronnie and Jesse are welding away
We're all lamenting this long delay

Daydreams about boxer rumbles and torque bumps
Just remember optimism and patience are better than grumps

Some day soon we'll all have a JDL UEL header
And our beloved 86's will sound so much better

You all will be happy to know we have another welder working. Spend most of the morning setting up the new station. He will be working on other make turbo kits. Jesse will now be able to give all his attention to these FT86 headers and Turbo kits! I will update you all as more start leaving here!

I received my UEL on Friday but unfortunately have not had a moment to snap some pics to post up for you guys. Its just as beautiful as everyone would expect. I love it and hopefully I will get it put on this weekend. I will snap some shots of the install for you guys too. Be patient........... its been worth the wait!

Fantastic work guys!!

Anyone with a JDL over-pipe noticed exhaust leaking around the (somewhat cheap) gaskets supplied? Particularly around the bolt holes?

what side of the overpipe?

when I put the supplied bolts in for the header I was actually surprised on how large the bolt holes were on the flange that connects to the uppipe. I wanted to put a washer on it but didn't have any.

and btw - the gaskets supplied is what 99% of other vendors/companies use. Its pretty much your standard gasket.
