At least that's what the sticker read. Sorry if how I originally said it was confusing.
So if we have the old base audio, we should be able to call our local Scion dealer and order the new SDA for $239?

Nope, only for new fr-s purchases. Dealer will sell you the unit for $500 and some change. Some folks are reporting that some dealers are actually selling the new base radio for 1k and some change .

I was told by the dealer the price for the headunit was w.e is listed on the detail sheet on the new FRS. I'll check it out again when I go in for oil change when I hit 7500. If anything I'll just see if my friend can get a deal on the headunit for me haha.

Mine came in to the dealership at the end of June, also had the display audio. They just added $239 or so to the cost of the car. It's nice that it has a touchscreen, but the audio quality still is subpar. I do not think the sound quality is better than the other unit.

I don't think the HU is the big problem in sound quality but rather the speakers themselves lol.
still a better HU would help a little

The base and Bespoke are the same HU. The Upgrade is just a
"Extention Box" that adds apps, nav.. It just installs under HU via 2 screws and
routing your data cable.
I got one for sale if anyone interested..Brand new in box.
