can you PM me the price you paid Stranoparts? Would help a lot since I need to make a swift decision. Thanks!

I'd check all your fittings and tighten everything. It shouldn't be a lot of rasp.

Got a video?

I just got a Perrin Resonated catback, Perrin overpipe, Invidia catless resonated front pipe, and revworks uel headers. I haven't installed it yet but I'm hoping it will sound mean.

Perrin Catback

Frequently set off car alarms in parking structures due to the low frequency drone. (Perrin catback, resonated.)

Unres with front pipe would be raspy esp when cold, but once you warm up you will be fine. Check out vids on youtube

mines raspy even after warm. but once i "clear its throat" as in redline WOT one pull, it becomes fine after that. idk why. i have to do this everytime i start my car to eliminate the rasp

Note that I have not heard any of the other configurations of the headerback or catback in person.

Here are my feedback (I do not have an intake, drop-in filter or tune)
+ Idle is dead quiet. You cannot hear the exhaust even with windows rolled down. I do not want to attract attention while waiting at a light.
+ The system does get on with sound when you start off from a light. Frankly I think the sudden exhaust noise surprises everyone, and I love this.
+ Gears 2+ pulls harder. If you don't have a dyno (I don't) then this is the primary way you'll feel the extra gain.
+ When you are cruising, the exhaust gets out of the way so you can enjoy conversation, music, NPR, whatever your fancy. When you want to pass, it'll let you know you are passing.
+ It is a mature sound. No rasp, no drone, hissing, cam noises. Just a deep full sound. IMO this is not exotic car noise.
+ I think this is true of any exhaust; it'll let you hear your blips when you rev match downshift. In the end I think this makes you a better driver.
I agree with this 100% I also have a full Perrin intake and WOW again only when you jump on it does it come ALIVE! But other than that cruise normal love the set up hope you will too!

It's going to be a little loud, I usually recommend a front pipe with a resonated catback only, since it makes the sound more livable.
