Full Blown Turbo Kit Owners Topic

360whp is all our pump gas would let us do and still have it be reliable. I could go nuts an throw a massive turbo on it but don't forget i daily this car, like its my only means of transport. Plus we don't have access to e85 up here 👎

I'm shooting for 350 whp when I go FI on my BRZ. I live in Norcal, no E85 anywhere near me, but I'm also planning on running Meth injection.

It seems an easy decision to me, spend the extra $$ on a meth system on top of the turbo kit and supporting parts, and I should be able to safely shoot for 320-350 whp I would think.

Well he's routinely pulling 300+ without meth on 91 octane with the stock engine.

Would you consider it safer to run meth injection at 300+ on 91 gas?

I would say so. Would give u a nice buffer zone for bad fuel. I've actually been considering it

Car is running on basemap, going to wait on the MAF sensor before we crank up the boost. Kinda wanting a vented hood now to vent all the heat but most look so ricey. If anything ill put hood spacers on the rear of the hood.

Did a two hour drive to a meet without any issues, on the 2 hour drive back everything went great minus hitting a cloud of butterflys so now i have to really clean out the intercooler. About 10 minutes from home car started cutting power but I think it was heat related. I coasted the car and let it cool down and it came back.

Really need that oil cooler and vented hood.

No smoke or weird smells of any kind, parked the car a hour ago and just checked again a few minutes ago. Pretty sure it was just heat, when I opened the bay it was like opening a BBQ pit. It was a pretty long drive at 75-85 in seriously brutal humidity.
