At the dealership in your mind... or I sure as hell hope that is the only place such a dealership would exist. If any customer facing professionals think that is cool, well then you're the biggest pack of knob jockeys in your industry.

At the end of the day I guess you all leave boo-yaa'ing and high-fiving each other, as you get into your rocket cars and then go pick up your Victoria Secret model girlfriends?

I am sure we (who are not in the car industry) all appreciate your stereotypical tossbag car salesman anecdotes. Good for a chuckle and a head shake.

I feel sorry for car salesmen. They work so hard for so little.

Don't let them fool you, they make good money. They just have to sell in volume to get their cheddar!

We didn't always call that 'work.'

We used to refer to it as 'scamming.'

I would pay $25k out-the-door, but just the car price itself better be close to 22-23k.

I sure hope the BRZ Limited isn't more than 27k base price. If it's over 30k out-the-door, not many people are gonna buy it.... At that price the FR-S will be the better buy even with pure-pricing...

My guess:

FR-S 22k
BRZ Prem 24k (invoice price will be close to 22k)
BRZ Lim 27k

The civic si starts at $23k. The only option is navigation, yet I've never seen one under $25k where I live. I hope dealers don't mark-up like that.

+1 I need to get pricing info and start talking to the dealer and my bank about financing, see where I'm going to get a better deal on the loan.
