Can you made a sound clip?? I really want that combo.

Yes it does rub. It could do with a design revision. I've notified JDL. The overpipe isn't a great fit on a RHD car either (too close to the steering column), but I suspect it'll be close to the subframe on a LHD too.

I took a hammer to my skid plate but will most likely cut the trouble area out. Not ideal, JDL are welcome to send me a revised version!

Sorry man, I already pulled the Tsudo catted front pipe off lol. I only got a clip of blipping the throttle at idle.

ft_sjo - Ok glad it wasn't just me then. I ended up shoving a crow bar up there and just trying to bend the hell out of my skid plate (didn't work that well lol), but I don't have any rattle right now as far as I can tell.

Just kind of assumed that it would fit fine, but I never asked so I can't put fault to JDL on that front.

I think it's fairly safe to assume that when you buy something it's going to fit properly.

Yes, I was pretty bummed out about this.

Like I said, right now I have no rattles, but I did have to bend the skid plate some. Still, you put that skid plate on, and it sits against the WHOLE header, not just one section of it.

I refuse to take that plate off, so hopefully there can be some sort of fix for this.

Might have to take a trip to lowes and get longer bolts and a few washer to space it out. I tried to space it out with a few last night but the bolts aren't long enough, most you can get is like two up there.

Well I will lighten the mood a bit with these two sound clips.

JDL UEL Header, Stock Overpipe, Stock Front Pipe, ARK DT-S Catback in both.

Yes I know I don't rev it high in neutral, but 1) I think its retarded doing that 2) It was 12 at night lol
Wish i turned my iphone to landscape, sorry about that.

Idle:

Not at all. It's mainly around where the two flexi-joints are. To be honest there's nothing stopping a slight re-design to provide adequate clearance which I hope JDL will do. I would like to point out that the OE manifold/heat-shielding was also rubbing on the skid pan, so if the OE manifold was used as the boundary, then this could be why. Surprised it wasn't an_issue/picked up on a full assembly of the car before going into a production though, though.

Also, I will have my JDL headers before you.

Not on the autox car, but that may have been the first header? We will see what the new one does when it gets here, probably won't be installed until next week.
