Not a single misfire on the stock map and my MPG its slightly higher than v1.14 just commuting to and fro work.

Honestly the latest tune runs like complete Crap compared to stock on my car. No joke my stock map feels like a turbo kicks in at 4.5krpms to redline ( yes im aware that there's the stock torque dip ). v1.14 doesn't put me back into my seat as near as much as stock anywhere in the band except for a small mid range portion.

I've lost the responsiveness that I used to have on previous tunes as well which is why I think the stock map feels "better" to me. Yes I miss the NVH especially with my Perrin CAI it sounds badass on v1.14 but is not running right. And the datalogs ive been able to get are short because there is a short in my cable and I have to pull the wire towards me for it to stay connected.

Again, John I appreciate everything you do and love your work you've done on all my buddies R35's. Just not feeling v1.14 too well.
I'm on Vortech 1.06. I dyno'd it and I'm missing like 30whp.

It means you have an air/fuel imbalance. Do some logs at idle / driving and such and see what your AFR are, if they too lean, too rich, or just bouncing.

Whats the normal lead time on a tune? I put in a request on 7/24 and the tune that was sent to me said it wasn't "customised for my vehicle," and couldn't be flashed to my car, also the license number at the end of the file didn't match my keyfob. I put in a second request on the he 28th and haven't heard anything. I don't want to pester anyone, but I was really looking forward to taking the car up the to White Mountains this weekend.

My experience is up to a couple of weeks for getting the base reflash and then a couple of days for a datalog review response.

That same thing happened to me but they fixed it the same day.

Whoa that's nuts. I wonder what's going on. I'm on the same version of your tune but doesn't feel like 214 but hey I could be around there. How odd.

This is what we get for letting him toss a tune and not tell us what the differences are. When I see that, I’m under the assumption that he thinks we are guinea pigs.
Also, did anyone else notice that there are only 2 maps now instead of 4? What happened?
Back to 1.04 and don’t send logs on 1.06 until we get an explanation would be my recommendation.

ok so i checked and i'm on 1.01 with 2 maps. i did get a new one a while back when i requested auto blip which is 1.06. i'm very hesitant to flash it now. should i stick with 1.01?

I guess it’s dependent on what you think “feels” better…unless you have a dyno like pheoxs to prove it out. The last one I have prior to 1.06 is 1.04 sent about a month ago and it has 4 maps...map 4 having autoblip.
My issue is that I went to a full exhaust and switched to 1.06 at the same time. I didn’t feel the gains that I was rumored to get and was a bit suspicious. Pheoxs’ dyno information now adds to my suspicion and I’m going back to 1.04 tomorrow for the “feel” test.
Also, based on what I’m seeing, I’ll just stay with 1.04 until I see what his explanation for 1.06 and cutting 2 maps is. I will also not be feeding him datalogs until then.

This may have been answered in the almost 300 pages of this thread, but has there been any discussion over DI system failure with Visconti's tune? I just read a bunch of the threads about people having major issues with the DI. Does this tune solve the detonation issue that is causing the failures? Are there many high mileage (20k+) cars that have been on this tune and pulled the injectors to check for damage?
