Windows lol. 20% all around with a 5% windshield strip.

I've had 5% all around and found it hard to see cars in my rear view mirror and side mirrors.

20% seems to be the best from my experience in terms of look and functionality.

Went on a trip to Mann Engineering in Santa Clara today and had a Milltek resonated catback installed, along Whiteline's positive shift kit and rear subframe bushing inserts and a Cosworth air filter. I really had no idea what to expect when I headed over there-- basically all I knew about Mann was that they are a US distributor for Milltek. After visiting, all I can say is, "go there." Everybody there is incredibly nice and helpful, the shop is immaculate and has a lot of cool toys, and Gary seems like a really serious driver who takes a refreshingly well-considered and nuanced approach to car setup. I went over there with my sister and her boyfriend-- both of whom are avid petrolheads as well-- and we all had a great time chatting with Gary and his mom, who showed us all around the shop and hung around with us talking about car setup for a solid hour after closing time. As a result of this, I'll be going back in a week or two to do some suspension work and put some proper wheels and tyres on the car. Cars are such a slippery slope :P

I'm really looking forward to seeing what Gary can do with the car. Hopefully we can dial out most of the factory understeer while retaining most of the suppleness of the stock suspension!

Oh, and Gary installed a set of clear sidemarkers. Holy crap, what a difference! I know this sounds stupid, but they look even cleaner on the car in person than they do in pictures-- you don't truly notice how bad the orange ones look on the car til they're gone!

Anyway, Milltek thoughts:

- looks fantastic
- it's lighter
- it's not terribly loud (I didn't want something incredibly loud, so this is a positive)
- in-cabin sound is much more classic Subaru-- much more bass / rumble than the stock system
- Overall, the system sounds much less high-pitched / whiny / vacuum cleaner-y: me likey

Exciting times ahead! Pictures to follow. I just hope I'll still be able to afford to eat when I'm done :P This car is gonna be fucking silly
