Yes, Camaro drivers are stupid. I was on the access road about to get into the left lane so I could get on the highway. Young Camaro driver behind me goes from the far right lane over to the far left lane, floors it, passes me up, and then goes back to the far right lane. Doesn't make any sense. My gf was like, "that was pointless."
I've gotten too many speeding tickets and seen too many accidents to drive like that on public roads anymore. Everyone has that craving to drive fast when you're young, but once you realize that you have your gf in the car, or a family to think about, or there are cars with families driving around you...you stop doing dumb crap like that. I don't need a 300+ HP car to take my gf to the movies, go to the groceries, drive to work, or just enjoy my drive. I got that out of my system after I had paid a fair amount of money to the courts for no reason other than me wanting to drive like an idiot on public roads. |

A couple of douchebags in German cars decided to show off around me yesterday. The first car a grey BMW 5 series floors it when the light turns green then nearly rear ends a car moving over to the left in front of me, I give crazy assholes like that a wide berth because if they want to kill themselves they are not taking me with them. The second car was a older model Mercedes that I didn't know, he decides to floor it too. These assholes start acting like assholes after they fail to block a person in, they drive slow but when someone doesnt want to take forever by passing them all they get butthurt and wanna race.

Corolla S
A corolla S with a fart cannon tried to pass me on the right in a merge. A double clutch downshift to third put him to bed...now that I think about it, I probably could have granny shifted...

I also feel a little bit guilty at the same time... maybe they secretly just want a better view of the back of my car.

the worse are the civic SI sedans, which have been the only ones trying to race me. I could understand the coupes maybe but the sedans just kinda make me laugh

Ugh...the G35/7 crowd. It never fails. There are two or three in my town and they make it a point to tail gate me, cut me off, and peel away from me at stop lights. I just turn my music up, keep calm, and carry on. :-)

I love this thread! Some hilarious stories so far.
Here's a philosophical question - is it that the douchebag is attracted to certain cars, or do certain cars turn a person into a douchebag? |

So far I had a metallic orange Cavalier with a polished tip try the brz. Going to popeyes for lunch in traffic he pulls up and started lurching. I could have floored it and went forward about 30ft before slowing do for the car in front of him. I'm granny driving for break in so I know I didn't provoke it. The WRB may have though as it seems to get a lot of looks. Other than that I've had a few beaters at the light which is odd. When I had my RX7 everyone left me alone... I'm under 200miles still and It seems I'm constantly in others sights.

Car was less than 3 HOURS old (to me.) I put my things in the trunk, picked up his cigarette, re-lit it and threw it back into his car via a cracked window onto his koi-dragon-fish-thing seat cover and left. Hopefully he at min needs a new seat. Probably lucky I had my little cuz with me or I probably would have done something really stupid. /cool story bro |

I get tailed quite a lot, I just end up moving over to the side to let them pass, although I've had a corolla driver who tailed me for about 10 minutes to my home. Even at residential area I sped up a little bit, he just came even closer, scared him a little when I started to downshift without breaking to turn into my driveway though (probably shouldn't have done that in case he couldn't break in time).
I'm wondering now if he was with another driver that was causing havoc to people, because right before he started tailing me, ahead of me was a douche-bag driver messing with another car, he would randomly stop in front of the other car and not let the other car pass on purpose, and when the car behind him tried to turn to another intersection, the guy in front quickly turned and blocked him off as well... so dangerous . Wasn't there to see the whole scenario from the start though.

I cut off a Challenger RT from a stoplight to get over quickly to turn and he got mad and tailgated me. We then moved to a curvy road following and he quickly slowed down as I kept going. Not really a race, but kinda funny when straight line cars are presented with curves.

Stopped to get gas and some Powerball tickets. I noticed a Genesis coupe 2.0t owner a few pumps over staring at me. As he leaves he drives by me slowly then proceeds to burn out across the gas station within a few feet of women and children. Gas station is packed with people buying Powerball tickets. I ignored the idiot.
