Just rev the engine like crazy at the light and then when the light turns green, drive like a grandpa and watch the GTR take off like a bat out of hell and look like a total tool...

Surprisingly, alot of enthusiasts around who are genuinely appreciative. I had a random 370 Nismo owner come up to me while in line at the ATM to tell me that I had a really clean ride. He took pics of both our cars together and then left lol.

This happened to me on my 3rd day after purchased my 86. Got a guy on a Kawasaki Ninja zooming by on the highway, saw my car and slowed down right next to me. I knew he wanted to race because the guy started revving real hard. I kept my cool, ignored him and just enjoy my normal cruising. The idiot bullet off after I ignored him for 3-4 minutes. Funny, I later caught up to him because of traffic jam lol.. He just looked at me without doing anything. Gotta love the 86!

It happens all the time. I act like I'm gonna drop the clutch as soon as the light turns green, and end up driving like normal just to make them look like an idiot. It works all the time. Some douche in a Jeep Cherokee just did it to me last night after work.

That's the best way to do it, fake them into making themselves look stupid.

theres a audi r8 and an italia in my neighborhood. both of them are owned by guys in their 20s and both have never done anything retarded around me (we ususally see each other in our commutes.) but that damn BRZ and those infiniti and domestics are allllways doing stupid shit. revving like hell all over the place. the infiniti g37 flicked his cigarette at my car as he passed. douche. why? cause he spent almost double on a car that is half as amazing as mine? idk.

Was returning with groceries from Walmart and happened to pull up at a light next to a WRX STI (2nd gen version). Dude revs his engine and then takes off, turbo spooling like mad, making all kinds of noise. And I just drive off like normal...

Not sure what it is these guys have to prove. If we were to do a drag race, his modded AWD WRX STI would have shown up a BRZ that has only slightly more HP than a Honda Accord...

All I know is I've hunted down 500 hp Vipers at the track. I'm pretty sure the STI was a ricer who's never even seen a road course.

I need a damn turbo.... Made me wish I was in my '02 SS.

and yes, most Mustang drivers are douchebags and that's the one car I want to make my FR-S faster than with a stage 2 turbo. I hate Ford's (Except maybe the F150 which is the only good Ford). Smoking a Cobra will be a great feeling.
Trailblazer SS....an SUV made during a short stint at GM where they wanted to SS everything they had....
-Impala SS > 240hp supercharged V6.....yeah explain that...(I think later they put in a 303hp V8...but it was still FWD)
-Malibu SS, that old square boxy shape version. I don't remember how many hp it had, but it was still pretty slow for that SS badge. 240hp OHV V6.
-Cobalt SS = (3 versions....170hp NA, 200hp supercharged, and then replaced by 260hp turbo. Forced induction ones were mentioned specifically since the NA one was an SS already.)
-Silverado SS = It was supposed to compete with the SVT lightning I believe, 350hp V8 I think? Probably the same engine in the Trailblazer SS.

All of them were pretty much 6 second cars....except maybe the earlier Impala SS and the Malibu SS, those would be slower.

My GT86 isn't my daily driver. Which means I only take it out at night or on weekends. I get a lot of cars trying to race me, particularly in red lights. I don't fall for it.

But last week I was driving down the freeway and another guy from the GT86 Club here in Peru, was trying to get me to pick up the pace (I try not to speed, and if I do it's barely over the limit), so he passed me doing at least 25+ mph over the limit, exits the freeway.... and gets pulled over by the police.
