The OEM version is only .2 pounds lighter than stock. Maybe the vent cutout is more than .2 pounds?

Here's the thread with weight comparison.

Get the Cf lip kit, trunk, suspension and some wheels. Not really my thing but build your car to your taste and no one else's. Have fun

Full CF? or CF overlay?

If its CF overlay I highly doubt its lighter than the stock hood.

I remember a thread about a different Seibon CF hood (the one with two vents in the middle) and that person weigh both hoods and the Seibon one was heavier

I like it raw on a black car. Also I wonder if you could spray paint the grill part black. Will take the rice effect away of the silver mesh grill

I'm joking. Chill.

It was in reference to your loud noises.

*****WARNING*****UNSAFE AT ANY SPEED*****
These hoods are unsafe as hell if they are made recently. I have two of them. One was made in 2012 and is solid as a brick. The other I just purchased and it is absolute crap. So flimsy it shakes like a leaf at any speed over 75mph. The U shaped hood bracket that connects to the latch in the body has cracked and rendered the hood useless. I paid $850 plus shipping and another $700 to have it painted. The brain trust at Seiboin shrugged their shoulders.
I would never buy any Seibon product again. Shame on them for selling something so poorly made, and so potentially dangerous.

Is this news? I thought it was common knowledge to stay well away from their stuff.
