Actually considered the seasuckers, but I also had a storage rack that I use when camping once in a while.

I have been looking at the Sea Sucker. Finally found a picture on an 86 / BRZ. Thinking this is the best option, as bikes will fit inside, just, but prefer on the roof.

I've been reading up on the seasucker forums and cars with the the two bike set up go as fast as 80mph driving for an hour or two without any hiccups. I think one bike will be ok. The only downside for me is the price.

Fear can be irrational. The vacuum cups are rated to a very high level. Personally better than a more traditional (permanent) rack. And but sure if the hitch solution is actually legal here.
