Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but anyone find a good bike rack that fits our car yet? Since I have the Limited, I also have to deal with the spoiler.

I was thinking of the Saris Bones 3 which has the Arc frame that looks like it should clear the spoiler (not the RS referenced above). Anyone try this out yet?

This is a sport car for God's sake. If you need to carry bikes get a truck.

As already said above, you likely can fit one bike inside with folded back seats. You do not want anything hanging outside of sport car, just imagine what happens with it in 0.93g turn.

Different strokes for different folks. No need to start an argument over what I or others may want to do with a mode of transportation, be it a sports car or otherwise.

I have an SUV and a larger car I can easily transport bikes with, but there are times that I'd enjoy to drive my BRZ along the waterfront and perhaps find a nice place to then go biking. Cool?

Anyway, The Bones 3 will clear the BRZ's spoiler, so that answers that question.

yeah I am interested too, was considering a limited but seems like that woudl not allow a trunk mount rack anymore. Fitting inside seems like a pain, especially if you have to remove pedals and wheels.

Why in the world would you do such a turn with bikes in the back?

Can you tell me what size is your bike? (Frame size and wheel size please)

I am wondering if a 29er will fit in the back with rear seats down.

This is a track bike, with only the front wheel removed.....I imagine a road bike would be very similar.

Thanks for your picture! I'm actually thinking about 29er mountain bike. Hopefully someone with a 29er can confirm our trunk is big enough for the size.

We do some biking but it seems there is one heck of a lot of compromise with a BRZ and a bike, let alone two bikes. I cannot imagine how much room is left for personal gear. Many times where we go I wouldn't want to take the BRZ.

The KUAT two-bike trailer hitch rack with our Mazda CX-7 is the solution. Easy-on - easy-off.

I have put a rack on mine. It worked well, and cleared the TRD spoiler. Only problem was I had to pop the trunk lid open a bit to get the hooks on. Similar to this one on the Target site.
