Works for me!! I hope not, I want one! If you can mash the throttle at a stop and spin/smoke those Primacy HP's I'll drop it and just be happy. Deal? :happy0180:

The easiest, most obvious solution would be to rely on the Subie hoodscoop or aftermarket hood and make a ram air box and modify the blower and throttle to a top feed solution. That's all prohibitive and something of a PITA. My other solutions are more strange and convoluted requiring a lot more development time, so I'll keep those to myself unless I actually make them happen. |

Get the air filter right up there by the throttle body, and build a box around it that mates up to the hood (when closed) with a NACA duct to pull air into said box… |

Are you guys assuming that air goes into the hood scoop on a scooby?

This helps keep cruising gas mileage in check. Crusing 6th gear 2.5k to 3k rpm is the bypass open or closed?

02-03 scoops vented air at highway speed, and the 04-05 WRX was iffy. The 04-05 STI did take in air at a speed, but they had to boost the scoop up into the airflow. The 06-07 redesign actually saw a windtunnel during development so it does work on both the WRX and STI.
