How not? Removing a lot of the beams from the doors, interior, sound dead...etc. Adding back a roll cage, turbo setup to the motor, suspension work should be lighter than stock. Hood, hatches, roof...can be lighter. Lot of ways to shed weight.

2,762 was what I saw on the BRZ. So, close to 2800lbs. The FR-S should be slightly lighter, but not much. The addition of the Cage and turbo setup could push the specs back up.

yea but it has no mats no sound deadening no seats. i think it should be lower than 3K dunno though man i can see what you mean cage pipes mani turbo. ounces equal pounds and pounds equal pain.

Where the hell did you hear this? The video says clearly in the back ground 600 hp, 500lb-ft tq and 300lbs lighter. If the stock frs weighs 2,750lb and the FD tire weight classes are by 100 lbs the car most likely has weight added to 2,500lbs to wear 265s

Meaning it was the first car ever to have this integration. Featured means presented, not standard.

Ok, that's what I thought I heard mentioned as well. That it was lighter. I couldn't really tell on the vid since it was cut off on the screen from the camera.
