I am so temped right now to get headers, catless downpipe and an intake so my car will be ready for a tune! But it'll be expensive and I don't know if I could get everything in time (especially the headers). Time to overnight parts from Japan?

Lets keep this rolling, i need a head count ASAP of people who can throw money down in the next few weeks to have their car tuned CORRECTLY! If you want a detailed quote on what it will cost for your specific needs please PM me directly and i will give you a price. Prices should be lower than the original post, i will revise it once i make an actual thread for the event. But first I need to hear back from Toni on a few more bits & find us a dyno so I can get us an actual rate to base things off of.
Let me call and talk to some people and see what I may be able to get pushed through for us on the dyno. After talking to Toni last night I am actually pretty amped about him 100% in to come down.

Good thing about Toni is you don't HAVE to. Get the tune first and then as you add parts he will adjust the tune. I am very excited about this. Toni seems like a pretty cool guy and I was originally going to go with FA20Club. Now I have no reason not to, the price will be too good to pass up.

I need to check when I get paid in august, but count me in. I'll let you know a date that's good for me.

I have called a few other dyno's in town and am working to see what we can get done. Nelsmar and I will figure this out and report back as the day goes on and answers come in.

So here's the story. One of the guys at my work gave me a pretty decent dent in my passenger side door last week. He was cool about it, came in and told me...said he'd pay for any repairs. Today at lunch I dropped by a body shop that is right by my work to have it checked out. Dude says, just try a paintless dent repair first since that should fix it. Cool. That makes me happy that my coworker won't be out too much cash.

So I drive away and stop at Circle K to pick up a pack of gum (green trident) and some powerball tickets, jackpot is like $250 mil. While I'm in line I see some young guys park next to me in a beat up late 90's camaro. They walk in and ask the guy at the counter, "You sell any alcohol?". Circle K dude says no and they go on their way.

I pay for my gum and powerball tickets, walk out the door and guess what they left me...a nice sized dent on my driver's side door! I mean, WTF? I can't fucking win. Anyone know a good paintless dent repair person?

TL;DR? I went to go get a dent in my passenger door fixed. End up with new dent in my driver's side door.

UPDATE on car noise...

so the wife drove the car in SD while i was here in Yuma. She complained that she heard knocking noise in the front part of the car and she feel the knock on the gas pedal as well. when she tried to stop she heard the brakes whistle and it took her longer to stop then usual. i popped the hood and checked the liquids and everything was topped off except for the coolant, that was sitting at the low line. im going to refill the coolant tomorrow. she also said that it was making a throttle noise as she was driving and when she stopped, the brakes would shake.

im going to take the car out in a bit myself to see for myself what is going on.

any thoughts out there from anyone that might have an idea of whats going on with the car?

UPDATE

so i drove the car to work... Isn't that far. It's like 5 mins away from my house. And I drove it slowly due to speed limit being 15mph there were. Plenty of stops between home and work, I didn't hear an whistling in the brakes. I did however still feel and hear the knocking somewhere in the car.... Now sounds like front and back of the car lol.

Still got coolant to refill.. Anyone have any recommendations on coolant to use?

The stock Subaru Super Blue coolant is probably the best choice.
