I'm preferential to blue and normally am against all white, silver, or black cars.
I had been planning on purchasing a WRB BRZ until I ran across the 10 series at the Scion dealership I went to after the Subaru dealership to check out the Hot Lava color. Couldn't pass up on the 10 series and the trade-in I got offered for my Candy Blue '12 Focus. The 10 series color is a neat silver I think since it has some blue flashes in there under some lighting. Regular color-wise I'd go WRB for BRZ and Hot Lava for FR-S. Out of red or white, red. |

I'd swap my Whiteout for a Firestorm. But thats because I'm always wanting change, lol.
I'm sure if I had a Firestorm I'd consider a Whiteout. |

I dont think it looks dull IRL at all:
![]() ![]() I didn't really want the red at first, but when I saw it in person it was the only choice (IMO). |

I love firestorm. My other choices were whiteout and lava ... but the lava was A/T so meh.
I haven't had any cop targeting me or unwanted attention issues (knock on wood). It probably helps that every other car on the road here is a red (or equally bright colored) Mustang GT flooring it from signal to signal.... Crappy iPhone pics, still looks good to me ![]() ![]()

If they had kept the red they had on the concept car, I'd have been all over it. But Firestorm looks too flat to me in person. It never looks as good as it does in the pics. I would have gone with Ultramarine if I could have found one. As it is, I ended up with Raven. I'm not crazy about black, but the metalflake in it makes it look nice in bright sunlight. Whiteout is really nice too, but no one had one locally with a manual tranny either.
