Nice, I'm in for the under body tray. I don't want to buy the JDM under body panels... well unless they end up being cheaper.

BTW we got pricing details on our site now and 10 units are being produced.

We are still working out the black powder coat option but should have that figured out by the end of the week.

So if I ordered now would I be locked in for that price if I wanted it coated black?

Black coating will be an add on / separate item.

Two options at the end of the day basically. Raw which is in the link and then a black one which we don't have pricing worked out on yet.

How many attachment points are there btw? I count 4... the 2 L brackets in the back plus 2 pop rivets right under the reverse lights. Are there any I'm missing?

4 main structural attachment points, the two L brackets like you mentioned, and two plastic bumper clips under the reverse light.

In addition to those 4, there are 2x body panels screws that tap into the bottom of the plastic bumper cover on each side.

I can literally stand on mine, the metal bends and the bumper comes loose before the diffuser does.

I used rattlecan on my prototype, it's way cheaper than a powdercoat, looks just as nice, can be very durable if you prep the part. After months of driving on mine, it gets just a little road rash, I just pull it off and respray it before a show or something. It's on the bottom of the car, no one is gonna see or care about the rock chips on the underside.

Sorry there is tons of freight, and material cost in this thing. Only so much can be done. Coating it is looking to add another 70 per unit as well. Still working on that part. Have to remember we do free shipping on anything in the 48 states over $250 so some of that is obviously in the product. It's 54x25x6 when boxed basically. UPS and Fed EX are not the happiest to move something that big around on their trucks and takes a dimensional weight at that point.

you don't have to powder coat it I have the first of the pre-production diffusers from driveway labs and i Plasti dipped mine and it holds up just fine, and plasti dip is 5$ a can and that will be enough.
